Quick answers

Things people ask

Do I need to be a member to attend a meeting?

No — guests are always welcome. Come to a meeting or two before deciding whether you'd like to join. There's no pressure, no commitment.

How much does membership cost?

Annual dues are modest and go directly toward our community projects — Herb Day, the Seed Library, and the demonstration garden. Email us for the current amount.

I'm new to gardening. Will I feel out of place?

Not at all. Beginners and seasoned growers sit side-by-side at every meeting. The whole point of a society is helping each other learn.

When is the next Annual Herb Day?

Late April, as always. Watch the events page on our homepage, or follow our Facebook group for the date and venue announcement.

Can I donate seeds, plants, or supplies?

Yes please. Seed donations keep the Jasper Seed Library stocked; plant donations go to Herb Day. Drop us an email and we'll arrange handoff.

Can my organization partner with you?

We love collaborating with local groups on community gardening and education projects. Send us a note and let's talk.
